Cross training

Well, I have done it, I started to cross train.  In other words, I am doing the treadmill and the elliptical machine in my garage with the doors open so I can still feel like I am outdoors while doing something other than running in my neighborhood.  On days where it is just too rainy/cold to venture out I am taking this approach to training.  I am also doing it on my “rest days” to still keep moving but to take the strain off my sore leg.
