On June 15th I had the pleasure of attending the Women’s Leadership Council, Power Of The Purse Luncheon, and Silent Auction. The event is coordinated by the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. The Women’s Leadership Council is part of the United Way and works to build stronger communities through education, financial stability, and access to immediate emergency assistance, such as food and shelter.
